Bird Aviation Ltd is an MRO company located in Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus.

Position: Accountant 

The successful applicant will report to the Finance Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Recording all financial transactions and entries in the ERP including - establishing accounts, posting transactions, filing.
• Managing Bank reconciliations (accounts and payments) – Preparing payments, recording bank transfers in ERP, checking company bank statements and preparing daily bank reconciliation.
• Preparing daily cash statements and assisting in cash forecast report.
• Daily accounts reconciliation (Vendor and client and others), include account analysis.
• Preparing monthly provisions.
• Preparing VAT, VIES, INTRASTAT and IR7 reports.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll.
• Track and maintain fix assets records.
• Track and maintain inventory records.
• Preparing the monthly management reports closing procedures – TB, Provisions and reconciliations.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Assist with external audit process.
• Perform other general accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• University/College graduate degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Economics.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Accountant.
• Experience in Big 4 offices will be considered as an advantage.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Experience in ERP system.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Must be responsible and self-managed.
• Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills.
• Must be detail oriented, organizational skills with high level of accuracy.
